DANJA - Throwback Track Thursday 1.30.2014

This one should sound familiar if you've been following Danja for at least the past six years. Today, from Danja's vault comes Baléwa Muhammad's demo for "Hurt Somebody," which leaked in autumn 2008.

Also, in place of Kid Ink's "The Movement," Danja speaks to us over an alternate (and in this blogger's opinion, more robust) version of the track backing D.O.E.'s "The Fall," which was officially released in September 2008, at roughly the same time that the throwback record leaked.

Here's to hoping for more Danja/Clutch collaborations. ‪#‎DANJATBT‬

DANJA - Throwback Track Thursday for Beyonce

Danja is back this week with another Throwback Thursday track, due to his commitments at the induction for Ms Lago's Full Sail Hall of Fame last week (we will post footage when it comes to light) there was no TBT unfortunately. However never the less here is the Beyonce track that was left on the cutting floor a few years back.

Danja Throwback Track Thursday - "Dubstep Sound"

Do you remember when you first heard Danja experimenting with the dubstep sound, Chris Brown's Till I Die or Usher's I Care For You? Well this Throwback Track Thursday hits that spot showcasing his skills with an instrumental produced a couple years back in 2011, makes you wonder what sound he has now?

On a side note definately look out for a collaboration on B Smyth's upcoming album.

DANJA - Throwback Track Thursday for M.I.A.

Most Danja stans love them some 2006-2007 Danja. Well, the track Danja delivers this week does just that: deliver. M.I.A.'s "Bad Girls" was so good that it was resurrected for a mixtape, and then brought back for a third time as a single, at which point it blew up. But, there was another track leftover from that session.

Take a hit of this unreleased track, called "Doobie (High)". With its eerie synths and drums run through an arpeggiator, you'll be too lifted to wonder why it got left on the cutting room floor.

Danja for this Thursday goes into his repertoire of unreleased beats and picks a track that was amongst a number of beats supplied to Missy Elliott check it out below, Danja sings the reference on the track which also features a train horn sound.

DANJA - Throwback Track Thursday for Ciara

Danja comes through with the second throwback track for this thursday for Ciara, that features a few tracks you may have already heard of from different artists. Check out the instrumentals below.

The first instrumental is called That I Am that was penned by The Clutch and the demo recorded by Candice Nelson.

DANJA - Throwback Track Thursday ft. Ms Lago

This Thursday Danja is releasing two throwbacks and here is the first throwback track that features the one and only Ms. Lago where we take it back to '05 for her first mix with Danja on a track called Hands & Feet. This song featured Keri Hilson on vocals and ended up on the soundtrack for the movie In The Mix that featured Usher. Check out TBT below. Enjoy and stay tuned for part 2 of TBT.

Danja - Throwback Track Thursdays for T.I.

First throwback track for Danja is untitled System of a Down (Soldier Side) sampled track that was shopped to T.I. around the Paper Trail era. Although unsuccessful, we may still get to hear this track sometime down the future as the track now entitled Battlefield is set to appear on a future mixtape from NARS recording artist Caligula for the VA/KC mixtape. Let's hope Danja releases more heat in the following weeks to come even if its in the form of snippets like this.
