It has been retouched a little since we posted the leaked version of the track, but it still generally sounds the same. Audio coming soon. How do you think it will perform? Do you think it was the right choice for KC to make?
Hey, I think the song is very good. High Quality is usual, but I honestly don't feel it to be first single. I think you have much better in your catalog. Like for example, "bad intentions". That will definitely touch more people. But if I'ma keep it real.... I strongly believe the original "I like it" version without Diddy and Fabolous is a real BANGER. With the right video, it can go very far. Is this decision final?
too much bass and no melody in the beat, makes it boring for me. but the part when the melody comes in makes it up for me. should include the string part more
How could one possibly read this blog and say 'Bangladesh Is Dope' at the same time? Bangladesh is one of the worst producers to even call himself such..... Except for 'You don't want Drama' and a couple of decent joints waaay back his name's nowadays a guarantee for bad music.
KC has so many songs to drop as his first single but... I wish he would with "hang over my head", "baby i like it" (without diddy anf fabolous) or more recently "hangin on by a thread" or "bad intentions". But the problem is : when will KC realease his first album? He's about to drop hook vs bridge pt.2... Ok that's cool but then I don't wanna see him drop an album with a short tracklist as a lot artists do. So many songs wasted to me if he continues to turn that way
I wish artists WOULD start dropping albums with shorter track lists. The longer the album nowadays, the more bullshit is thrown in. I'd rather have a slammin' 10-track album (like they used to do back in the day) than 20 tracks of absolute trash and 2 good songs, which is now the norm. But everybody seems to prefer quantity over quality...
Waiting on the album whats Waiting on the real Album what's taken so long it seems like everybody is waiting on the album. The record labal need to promote this artist and get his music out there, Everybody is waiting!
It's hard to ask for this when artists can barely get it right with EPs. Though, it's admittedly hard for me to tell if an artist brought his A game from just six tracks.
I feel like now with digital distribution artists should be able to release however many tracks as they want, whenever they want. For albums, I agree with you: 10-12 original tracks is satisfactory for me. Artists used to be able to formulate amazing 16-track LPs, but those days are long gone.
I don't prefer quantity over quality, why couldnt we make both? I mean KC drops good songs most of the time, that's why i wrote it. Frederick you're right those days are far away from now but one has to elevate the level if we wanna go back to this kinda LPs
If you don't want to go by taste and simply go by musical talent, we'd better stop listening to popular music, in general. Nothing but classical composers from now on.
So you're not capable of telling the difference concerning musical talent between Danja and Bangladesh since they obviously are not classical composers? Because that's all I wanted you to do, to be objective. Dude...
No, if you'd simply asked the question, "Which do you think has more compositional talent?" I would have answered Danja. But you didn't do that. You ranted about how no one who likes Danja could enjoy Bangladesh and how awful he is. And you separated "You Don't Want Drama" from other Bangladesh productions/songs, which tells me it IS about taste, as there's really no more actual talent involved in that song than most of his others. You just like it more because it's more in line with your personal tastes. Now, if we asked, "Who's better at bass-heavy, in-your-face productions for those who love bass-heavy, in-your-face productions?" Bangladesh is the obvious answer by a mile, lol.

ReplyDeleteI don't wanna see all those singles, I wanna see his album man.....
ReplyDeleteIMO its too common with the current radio stuff. I wish he would have released "You Know What You Doin"
ReplyDeleteThis is mainstream enough to hit, for sure. Hopefully it will make it to the charts with the right promo. Bangladesh is dope.

lol, because not everyone has the same taste as you. I don't like all Bangladesh productions, but I like a lot of them.

.....and again someone's pulling off the 'taste argument'.
