  1. Danja and Rob Knox went in with their songs on this album (especially Rob Knox)!! Hit-Boy & Brian Kennedy did good too.
That "Kleptomaniac" track is horrible though IMO. But Joe gets props from me because he has Dub Step on it^^

of the Danja produced tracks, my favorites are "Not Right Now" & "Take It & Run".

    overall, a cool album.
One of the very few these days, where I haven't already deleted 3/4 of it lol

  6. 'take it and run' is definitely my favourite for the main melody...has that eerie and catchy quality like a lot of the best danja stuff. but this jonas guy has terrible vocals to my ears. he pretty much spoils these tracks, especially as his voice is right at the front of the mix for the most part.

  8. "Not right now" and "Take it and run" are the best of the bunch hands down. Danja's production is as tight as always. It's just a shame about Joe Jonas. His vocals don't really match the songs and he sounds plain awful for the most part.

  9. all this time = soundgarden ' black hole sun '
lover slayer = madonna ' get together '

maybe those were the ref tracks...

i find the overall sound to be kinda messy, the vocals struggle with the synths, but not in a beautiful way.. not my stuff !

  10. Screw it, I cave... gonna listen to the album and see if it's worth buying, especially since everyone's hating on the vocal game. If Danja had produced more of it I'd definitely have waited till Tuesday. But I remembered I even got a hit of Shock Value before I copped it.

  11. Glad to see you commenting on the blog here. But, I agree. Listening to this album, I'm finding there's nothing charismatic about Jonas' voice or singing. I'm reminded of the time I fell asleep trying to listen to a Jonas Brothers album in 2008... though, since Danja's on board here I'm less inclined.

If this was a Kevin Cossom mixtape, it'd be the bee's knees. So, I'll give it a chance. But, I can't help imagining KC and James Fauntleroy singing these songs in their own captivating ways.

  13. I guess when I really think about it, this is the best possible thing we could expect from a Jonas Brother. It's just that there's no way we could have hoped for good singing or artistry, because he is a f**king Jonas Brother. They don't have any talent. Having productions from the likes of Danja is as good as it's gonna get.
