T.I. "Hurt": Danja tells all

Today on Twitter, Danja decided to leave his followers with a little treat: an explanation of the history of T.I.'s "Hurt" and Simple Plan's "Generation" that also wraps up the mystery surrounding the track that he and Tim produced in session with T.I. Following are all of his tweets regarding the subject, unabridged.



TI hurt def one of my favs...lol! Gotta tell ya'll how that was made..lol!

Soo. TI hurt....just finish a session wit my brother TIM and we did something Haaaard for tip.....but tip wasn't feelin it...

He wasn't really feelin anything we did...so tip ended up leaving the session early so did tim. And I was left there dolo...I packed up too.

Soo all I had left up was a mpc 4000 and I grabbeda triton....I was tappin on the mp to see what drums I wanted to use...then...

I did the horn line 1st...the daaa da da da daaa da da daaaaa.....and knew I had somethin after I layed that....lol! The rest just flowed!

I was in the stu by myself for hours goin crazy cuz I had nobody to play it for!!! Tip was gone tim was gone...my publicist came through..

She was what u working on....I was like I got this joint for tip. And played it...she was blown...I was excited..the g roberson came through

He was like yooo....that's crack!!!!....I gave him a copy...a few weeks went by I was in with simple plan...they were goin nutz over it!!!

So tip was turning in the album but still didn't use this track...everybody was like yoo he needs to do this joint! Don't know if he was....

Feelin it right away...finally..he hit me and spit his verse over the phone..I was like yessir he gon kill it....and the rest is history..
