Whenever I see Se7en, I expect the Korean singer. Now I know to think differently. And, although I like it, I believe the main melody/synth in this track is too simple for it to have been by Danja.

ReplyDeleteI respectfully disagree. By the time KC and Danja started working together, Danja's sound had evolved to its present-day sound. And, Danja's old sound really isn't that different from how it is now.
ReplyDeleteNow that I've gone back through Danja's catalog, songs of his that utilize a structure similar to that in this song are Joe Jonas' "Not Right Now" and "Freak" by Jamie Foxx... both rather recent in terms of Danja's history. Also, they have more sonic punctuation than just in the chorus.
