Cody Simpson gets Danja on the first two tracks of his recently released EP Coast to Coast. Both tracks are written by Kevin Cossom.
The first one is called Good As It Gets which reminds me of the Menudo tracks that he did with them.

The second track of the EP is called Crazy But True.

Here are the credits for both songs! Thanks to Pete for the heads up!

hmmmm good tracks, first track has nice drums good melody.
ReplyDeletesolid tracks, but they are no blackout tracks ;)
Tracks are good but why Danja works always with teenage artists ? (justin bieber, Travis Garland, Joe jonas, Menudo, now him).
ReplyDeletethe second one reminds me of that Asia Cruise - Runaway track... well the start and hook does anyway lol
ReplyDeletereally like the first track! one of the better danja tracks of recent times...
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't exactly understand why more actual R&B artists aren't begging for beats like this first one from Danja. Mary J...people like that. It can sometimes feel like an odd fit having these songs sung by little kids. Great tracks from Danja, though.
ReplyDeleteDay26 got one, and that was the last time I heard something like this from Danja. So, I'm extremely pleased.
ReplyDeleteBut I guess I'm the only one who thinks Cody has chops. After realizing IYiYi was a Danja rip, he got studio time with the real deal. Full circle. Jesse McCartney, watch out.
IYiyi or what it is called is the most annoying track i have heard this year! fking awful. putting Flo-Rida on the track will not make it good lol
ReplyDeleteWow... I played "Good As It Gets" 46 times today. That's a personal record.
ReplyDeletegood as it gets is a sick track danja needs to drop more tracks with a strong groove like this. some of his earlier r&b/pop beats were a lot funkier.
ReplyDeleteits knockin hard! digging the beat
ReplyDeleteThough it is great track, singing ability is disappointing :-(
