MDMA (Pooh Bear) - Indivisible (prod by Danja)



The Danja Days of Summer continue!

Here's a new Danja production. The singing's mostly on the hook, so you get to hear Danja at work during the verses and bridge. This is definitely the type of production that has been a trademark of his, with blaring synths similar to Candice Nelson's "That I Am" and layered drum and hi hat patterns similar to those of Keri's "Knock You Down" mixed with T.I.'s "Hurt" and a few other tracks. We're unsure of where this will end up, but for now we know many of you will enjoy this!

    This brings practically every element of Danja's music I love to one instrumental. We are sure its 100% Danja right? Just seems so amazing to be true lol. Anyone get a date on this? I would estimate from the sounds around 2008/9, but I'd love if this was a brand new track. I love this!

    Man, damn... Take those damn hi-hats out and this is a CLASSIC Danja track! LOVE the synth and harpsichord melodies. Trademark Danja sounds.

    So angry at those hats, though!

    I Thought Pooh Bear changed his name as MDMA??
    Pooh Bear is one of Lupe Fiasco's best friend and singer from the same label FNF CREW....

    Please change his name as MDMA

    hmm Certain elements there that ring a bell, possibly around the time of 'Hurt Somebody' & 'Surrounded'. Danja always evolving his sound year to year so this might be old.

    I like the hats. Love this instrumental. Nice chord progressions. Definitely classic Danja.

    On another note...why does everyone feel the need to say they're the future of something?? Every dude out there is saying they're the future of R&B or the future of hip-hop or whatever, haha

    if u listen VERYYYYYYY closely, its not in line with how a track is supposed to be laid out, the way the bars are, its like he..idk hard to explain, usually 2,4,6 or 4,8, its like he went odd numbers with the sequence
