ReplyDeleteThis is probably how an Aaliyah + Danja track would sound like if she was still alive ;( R.I.P
yp i agree kevin cossom and danja arent the best combo i just dont fell kevin cossom as a singer.... and danjas productions latly arent as good as the used to be i just dont fell theme oh N.L.O yes i agree i like the melodie it has that danja fell to it its a cool song....
ReplyDeletefirst of all...Danja should drop his 808 sounds...he had so much better drums in past productions...tho the beat has potential! But Kev kinda could have done better...but i wouldnt say they're not a good combo...i mean "hangin on by a threat" is a monster...so...they ARE able do create some epic stuff.
ReplyDeleteNot. Good.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Danja should drop his 808 sound... His music doesn't stick out like a saw thumb anymore, he's playing very safe. His sound has become to polished, he's loosing his edge. I'm starting to think Polow Da Don is better. Polow knows how to adapt, Take lil Wayne's John beat. It's insane!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAlso whenever he had his hit/hot song he never reused his sound or stretched it with other demanding artist to replicate that sound again. I remember him saying in a interview that he likes to make a song with a fresh new sound, BIG Mistake! He need to know how to milk his sound a bit longer and change when people get bored. What do you guys think?
I want more tracks like "Echo" and "Migrate" !
ReplyDeleteit's kinda meh... nothing special. i've heard better from these 2
ReplyDeletei think most of us on this blog and danja fans in general totaly agree whit Tony Track and BeatF1ya :) danjas old sounds were way way better they had a lot of energy and that Mystic vibe he is lacking latly the old rnb hip hop patterns were way more intresting than this cheap club kick and snare patterns yeah and thes 808 are starting to anoye me i want the old drum packs back tooo !!!!!!!!!!!! i hope we will get lucky one day and get the old nate back :)
ReplyDeleteHe's too creative to sit there and stick to a certain sound or formula. That may not be a commercially good thing for him, but I admire it. He's an artist in the truest sense. There's all kinds of music he's been working on that everybody will love when they hear it. Don't let this one track get you down if you don't like it.
ReplyDeleteAfter a couple of listens, I actually like it except maybe the drumsets could have gone harder rather than using those 808s. This is maybe just my opinion but I think it's better than the single 'Baby I Like It'
ReplyDeleteDude don't make me laugh. I like some of polows beats eg Promise, London bridge...but he's not better than Danja, he's a well know bitter. He bites other producers hard, now he's bitten lex luger if you would have put lex's signature fx in the intro you would have thought he produced it. Dude is the least original "super producer" producer.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion Danja's coming back to rnb slowly and that makes me happy because I hated all his past pop productions. Those sounded like they could've been done by anyone so it was hard to accept that those were truly made by him.
ReplyDeleteAnyone noticed those synths in the hook? That's the old Danja to me that y'all want so bad :)
the synths in the hook are ql but i dont like the guitar melodie he should have took out the melodie of the guitar and repleace it whit somthing els... and the drum pattern is boring he relay need to go back to his old drum sets not this 808..
ReplyDeleteDo you mean feel and not fell do you feel spelling as a social skill?
