It's been a while since we've heard a collaboration between Natasha Bedingfield and Danja. Four years, to be exact. Now, we've possibly got another track between the two artists, and it's called "Bring Me Back". It's a far cry from "Not Givin' Up", and bridges Pop with Danja's grittier Urban aura. It still needs confirmation, but right now I'm feeling a rather distinct Danja vibe. How about you?

i dont think the drums are danja, i think danja has more unique drums than that. And there isn;t any distinctual synth sounds
ReplyDeleteIt's 2011... we're not still looking for "distinctive" synths and familiar drum patterns from Danja, are we?
ReplyDeleteMy initial reaction was Stargate, but there's a Danja possibility here. A very slight one to my ears, but I wouldn't rule it out.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure whether its danja or not...but there isnt at least one thing i would recognize as a danja sound...and usually he uses to put in at least ONE thing lol...
ReplyDeleteYou're not feeling the drums? They sound like a slowed-down version of Wyld Money's "Shout" to me. I put it up is because I don't know any other producer who does drums like that (who would also produce for Natasha), and because Danja has tricked me in the past!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard Stargate do drums or melody like this!
ReplyDeleteI Bet y'all Thats Danja :)
ReplyDeleteNot really...actually everything sounds to "usual" for beeing danja...to me...but as u said...u never know ;)
ReplyDeleteStargate? um.... Drums sound Danjarous to me & there is definitely a Danja synth on this, trying to remember what tracks I've heard it on before. If it was an unknown artist, I would say maybe not, but since this is NB, it's got to be.... hasn't it? ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm 100% sure this is Danja. I bet my mama on it!
ReplyDeleteTo me the main thing that gives it away aside from his signature 808 drums, is that as with pretty much all of Danja's productions, if you listen closely enough to the leading melody you should be able to tell that it has been recorded separately and subsequently sampled in. Very, very few producers bother with this method. In fact, Danja's the only one I know who has stuck with it for as long as he has.
I'm gonna stick my neck out and say this is Danja aswell, based on his recent work with Keri & KC. Thus far, it's an ok track and definitely not in the same league as "Not Givin' Up"
ReplyDeleteNeed to be Danja! Maybe Brandy wrote this for her. It feel brandy in this one.
ReplyDeletelisten to Brandy 'Sadiddy' at 1:51 (Prod. by Timbaland) ;)
hmmm actually them synths....
ReplyDeletei agree, sounds like Stargate. Stargate have really surprised me the past year or so. Dope productions. If it is Danja, will be suprised tbh
