Joe Jonas and Danja Talk Sound
MTV recently broadcast a short video featuring Joe Jonas and Danja, in which the two talk about the sound Danja has crafted for the former's album. Needless to say, we're majorly anticipating that eclectic mix of 808s and acoustic guitars.
I think we might be looking at an evolution of the sound Danja and Ezekiel Lewis put together for Donnie Klang's "Catch My Breath", but it could also involve a sound similar to what Danja put together for Kevin Cossom last spring. Hopefully, we'll find out soon!
Major thanks to King for the video!

I commented to Danja on twitter about how basic an 808 drum kick & guitar sounds on the Joe Jonas track & He said "sounds simple.....far from it.." I'm guessing theres more to it than we think. I'm excited about this collaboration. Aside from their teeny boppy appeal, The Jonas actually make good music.
ReplyDeleteI listened to one of their albums back in 2008 when one of their fangirls who I had a crush on told me to. It put me to sleep. I'm not interested in Joe Jonas' whole album; just give me the Danja track(s) and I'm good.
ReplyDeleteAll I've really heard is their older live performances, which were excruciating and embarrassing (and the songs were awful). But surely they're improving with time. At least, I'd hope so.
