Robert (Of Day 26) - "I Do It 4 Love" [Produced by Danja?]

Check out this new track that has a Danjaesque vibe... Although i cant confirm it is by Mr Danjahandz, i thought i was worth a post. Check it out and tell us what you think. This track features Robert Curry of Day 26, a band previously signed to Bad Boy, and a group formed by Diddy in the american series "Making the Band". Solo career, demo? We will see...

  1. reminds me of TI No Matter What for some reason!! the undertone of it at least!

  2. I just listened to No Matter What for the first time in months to compare vibes.

Why not just go to the My Love master tape and use the same synth gate? Why use an inferior one? Why use one at all? Though, the "HEY" in the background sounds like the same one used in Kevin Cossom tracks.

What could cause someone to want to make such a BORING song, though!? It's so boring that I don't WANT it to be a Danja track.

  3. just to clarify this track is not new at all its about 1-2 years old at least just found it going through some old forums tho i wonder if this is a demo for someone or just him singing on it for his solo career??

  4. Who knows. But, remind me of the last time a Danja track started off with a piano.

I was wrong about the Jaghers, so I haven't passed judgment. Just wondering.

  6. If it was Day26 all together, this song might be hot. But, considering it's just Robert, it's boooorrringgg.

This sounds like a Jr. Danja track. Too simple to be Danja. Where's all the crazy unique stuff? No "In My Bed" organ? No Jazmine Sullivan cymbals? No live drums? No "Hell of a Life" synth?

  7. This singing and vocal sound is just plain awful, but the track is okay. The vocal just kills any potential for the music.

  8. This is not nothing close to Danja, let alone even CLOSE to being Danjaesque. Especially the drums, Danja would have done something different.
