Danja scores album with Travis Garland

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Travis Garland revealed some very exciting news for Danja fans:
What else can we expect from your upcoming album?
TG: You can expect a great urban pop record. Danja produced a good chunk of the album.

Now, we haven't heard Danja contribute a "good chunk" to any album since 2007's Red Carpet Massacre, so it'll be a pleasant surprise to hear what he has to offer, and especially from the perspective of "urban pop".  Who else is slated to be on the album?
Any other collaborators?
TG: I did a duet with JoJo.

You may remember that we reported that Danja and JoJo were in the studio a couple months back.  Could it possibly be that Danja was the link between the two singers?  Perhaps they're on a Danja-produced duet.  Only time will tell.

  1. Why does the header say Justin when he's Travis. lol.
Looking forward to some hot beats. Not keen on Travis Garland, though. Keepin it 100.

  2. Thanks for catching that... guess I was thinking about Justin Timberlake. I'd rather he and Danja went in and did a Part II.

I hope we're not getting a bunch of Richard Simmons-aerobics workout type tracks from Danja. "Believe" was enough for my tastes.

  3. *DEAD* @ Richard Simmons aerobics workout type tracks. Haaaa! Proper made my day.
I hope it's the crazy Danja type shit. Like that beat flip on Hello Goodmorning reminds me of the 07/08 Danja stuff. Hope we're not getting Whitney Houston type Danja tracks.

  4. Hopefully Ryan Tedder gets the other half. Travis sounded good on "Karma".
